My cut-down mounting posts on the new Texavina seat. Notice that the bracket is flush-mounted to the seat pan without the all-important spacer gap.

Believing that the long mounting posts created a clearance issue, I trimmed them with a Dremel-type cut-off wheel. That was a mistake.
