Hi Guys and gals,

Returning to motorcycles after a 33 year break.

I used to own a mint Honda CB-125TDC which I absolutely loved to ride so was never bothered about passing my test! (Dumb move!) The reason I stopped riding was that my brother had a collision with an oncoming vehicle which he and his girlfriend were seriously injured. He lost an arm and a leg and his poor gal lost her leg. By brother was one of those people who just couldn't follow another vehicle, he had to overtake. Cue the family peer pressure and me giving up riding.

This meant that my poor wife suffered 30odd years of me drooling jealously at the bikers out on a sunny day.

I always said I would ride again and this year is it, my children are grown up and i'm going to join the legions of born-again-bikers. Passed my CBT just before the Covid situation hit and this prevented me doing the DAS to get my full A license. I spent the last nine months going ...I want a Blackbird.....I want a Blackbird....I want a Blackb HOLY FK look at that CB750F2N looks like the big brother to my CB125 so it bought and out back awaiting me getting the ability to ride! I used to call my CB125 "The Lady" but couldn't bring myself to reuse the name so my CB750 is my Vampire Lady and I have a cool picture that I eventually want for tank art.

So I'll say hello and apologies for all the daft noob questions i'm going to ask as it's years since I worked on a carb engine!

Saying hi from rainy Sheffield haha🇬🇧

Congrats on your CB750F2N purchase.

I now have a 1979 cb750 limited but had a blackbird in the mid 2000's. I liked the blackbird but it can't match the look of the cb750's engine that's a work of art unto itself. Enjoy your bike.

bit late but hi from chezy, nice bike , i bought a 750fz a couple of years ago because i just got the urge after owning a 750f back in the late 80's
