spin on oil filter

does anyone have any experience with a spin on oil filter? i would love an easier oil change experience on my f1.

Cycle X has adapters and filters and they are good guys, I use a lot of there parts.

You are better off calling them. They dont always answer there emails.

I tried a spin on oil filter before. I think I got it at cb750supply but I always had trouble with it leaking a little. Thought the adapter might be bad so I got another one and still had the same problem. I went back to the original set up and no leaks since.

I can deal with fram being a poor filter. I'm looking for a starting place for a filter number that can be used for cross reference.

Need have adapter in hand to do that, it determines your filter based on filter base OD and the thread used. They don't all necessarily use the same base filter type. You have to deal with the bypass/no bypass thing too.

FYI, if you buy at O'Reilly Auto then be advised that their house line is Fram (Microgard).............they'll tell you no but it's true.
