Hey guys, I have a 71 CB 750. I am in need of a suction side oil line. The one I have has been cut and coupled backed together using some sort of coupling and hose claps. It won't stop leaking so I would like to replace it. Can the old lines be cut off the fittings and new hose crimped on or clamped some how? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have replaced the lines with steel braided line as well as oil resistant rubber hose. You can cut the old line off and just hose clamp the new hoses because they are not under pressure. You can still find the real hoses if you look around. Also look into a good used hose.
