Hi everyone, I appreciate your input in my purchase decision process. I posted yesterday regarding a couple of partially cafe converted CB's (72 and 77). I've just discovered a stock 79 CB750K. It has had one owner, who's clocked over 32k kilometers (approx 20k miles). It doesn't look nearly as cool as the older ones, but it looks as though just stripping off excess (faring, highway pegs, etc) would be an easy way to begin. My question is, aside from stripping it down, what would be some quick mods to make it more cafe?

Well most people who make a "cafe racer" style bike change the seat and sometimes modify the seat rails to make it work.

If you don't want to go clip on bars a set of superbike bars also look great and give a little better riding position if your a fat old guy like me. LOL
