Breathing supplied by a rack of 34mm mikunis. Ken felt they would give good results. Stated he has ran these carbs on 750 displacement no issues

Glad you got a plan with Ken. I am running both types of rods but I prefer the Carillo.

Finally got my motor end of September but work kept it on the floor for a week. Then wiring issues n work kept it in the shop for awhile. But once she got on the highway WOW.
890cc, cx11 cam, 85 lbs springs, cyclex rods, balanced crank n rotor lightened, hd chains, thermal barrier on pistons n head, undercut tranny, and a rack of 34mm mikunis. Running 140 16 rear tire with 17/39 sprockets.
Found out i need different peg location and a different seat.

That it is sir. Put maybe 100 mikes on it. Enough to learn that with center mount pegs that seat does nothing to hold me on it. That was only taking it t 7g in 3rd.
How the heck do you hang onto that 970?
