Good evening, new member, 1st post. Not new to Honda's, have had a '13 F6b for 6 years and 40,000 miles. New to older Honda's. Going threw Facebooks Market place and saw a newer build trike , listed as a 1977 Custom CB 750 Trike, of course it was only 40 miles away so I had to go look at it... 750 bored out to 836, all new parts, cycle exchange trike frame w/limited slip rear end, Cycle x dual Mikuni carb set up, super low boy stainless exhaust, Drag Specialties springer front end w/Ultima 48 spoke fat 23 x 3.5 front tire... Basically everything is new but the rear tires and rim. No fenders, horn or turn signals, things I can take care of, now it is my job to finish the way I want, has 300 miles on it.

No, he built it, ordered many parts from them, including frame, rear, carbs...,have every receipt for everything, he has built a coup0le of other bikes. Will have to wait till spring to ride it and see if the 836 will move it along nicely.

Do you have receipts for what was put into the engine other than the 836 kit? Looks like a clean build. The 836 will move it along nicely. Would be even better with a better carb setup.

I have not had opportunity to go threw all the receipts yet but the engine is stock other than the 836 build. I do not like the exhaust, the Super Low Boy stainless pipes, to loud, no baffles and I can't believe they help performance, I am thinking a 4 into 2 set up. What would you suggest for a carb set up ?

Honestly correctly jetted stock carbs work and perform better than the 2 carb setup. The Keihin cr carbs are very adjustable and different sizes available but are on the expensive side. If your motor was a little bigger with a nice ported head and good camshaft I would suggest Mikuni RS carbs. Those long individual pipes should be halfway decent for power....better than the short drag pipes most people try to run. 4 into 2 into 1 would be the ultimate setup, 4 into 1 would probably be a stepup from the individual pipes

Thanks, dirtdigger, I will keep the existing carb setup till spring when I can ride it, the individual pipes will go for the 4 into 2.
