New to the forum.
I have a 1980 CB750K brat. I bought it several months ago. It ran well when I bought it but still took it to whats supposed to be the top bike shop around and had them do a full service and tune. It ran fine after that also.
It sat for a few weeks. Started it after that and ran fine but battery was weak so I replaced it with a MP ETX15L.
It won't start 95% of the time now. Starter/battery is strong but doesn't fire most of the time. When it does, it fires right up and runs fine but when it dies or I kill it, it doesn't start again.
I'm no mechanic. Wiring or grounding issue? Seemed to start doing that out of the blue. Might be when I replaced the battery but I'm not sure. I had the old battery on a charger quite a bit. Maybe something blew or I have some bad wiring?
any suggestions are appreciated.
