Sorry! RE-posting this because I put this in the wrong section... OK, so, I'm re-wring a Santee box on my SOHC yoppah and I'd like to use the correct color coded wiring inside the box. Does anyone know if somebody sells a kit for this, OR if I can find the original type color coded wiring for this project? THANKS!

If you haven't already, check out http://www.vintageconnections.com. I've been ordering wiring from them, and love the place. If you don't see the colors you need, shoot them an email (not all of their stock is listed online). My only gripe is that the lightblue and lightblue/white wiring have slightly different shades of lightblue :p

I took my cue from a post in another forum, and have been using AWG 18

"The wiring is 1 sq. mm area, the metric way of measuring. This is just slightly smaller than 17 AWG wire, which is basically not made. So 18 AWG is a bit smaller and 16 AWG is a bit bigger. I would use 16 for the high current wires (all blacks, red, and the ignition coil, alternator, rectifier, and regulator wires) and 18 for the rest. 14 AWG would be good for the red/white wire from battery to fuse block."
