Pulse generator

I have a CB750 F super sport 1981 and I measured both picks ups, Hains say 530 ohms.. One read fine the other open circuit - does anyone know if you can get replacement without getting the whole pulse generator as its $350 US, I have only pick up bad. Is there any alternatives anyone know about ? Any there any websites to go to buy replacements.

An ebay parts wrecker will be your best bet there. I'd have to say I know of no aftermarket replacements for those, they simply never broke much to need the spares.

Whatever you do don't give in to a Dyna S aftermarket 'high performance' substitute for it, they go bad faster than spit in this application. They cannot take the hot oil running on them. Average life in months rather than years.
