Hello all. in the process of a top end rebuild/regasket on my 77 750f. Was cleaning up the head a little bit with solvent as I am going to have it shipped to cycle x for valve work. Discovered these 3 small gouges off the chamber on cyl 4. pretty bad place for them and probably wont clean up with just a resurface. not sure what to do from here.

I think you will be ok once it has been surfaced. The gasket doesnt go right up to the end of the chamber anyway. Have Kenny double check it when he gets it but I'm sure it will be fine. It fixable either way, little bit of tig welding before machine would fix it anyway.
