Hey there group,

Sorry if this has already been covered but I didn't see it anywhere in my search on here. I'm currently doing a 77 CB750 caferacer build. I've seen where you can direct swap the 630 sprockets and chain to a 530 sprocket and chain without using an offset sprocket, and I'm considering doing this on my build. My question is if any one knows, or has done this, how many link 530 chain do you use? I'm guessing with the smaller 530 size you'll need one longer than the standard 88 link 630.

Look at the part distributor channels like Dennis Kirk, often they tell you the number of links in the chain.

When you switch to the 530 sprockets you may not have the same tooth count meaning your 88 number there may not be valid in effect either.

Dennis Kirk example of '77 CB750K with 18 front and 46 rear sprockets using 530 chain is 108 links.
