need help desperatley!!!!!!!

I have 1974 CB750 Honda custom chopper, I picked up second hand. There was no wiring harness, it has bare minimum wiring. the rectifier, the voltage regulator and the starter solenoid is all located in a hand made control box. Its all ran thru toggle switch and a push button start with no key ignition. When I obtained the bike, the box was a mess. I ran basic wiring and I think I made a mistake by running a constant power lead to a switch and the ignition coils to the same switch. The coils would likely be wired to the OPPOSITE side of the same switch if you mean they have power all the time to run battery down.

We get you have a problem but until you state what it is, kind of hard to read your mind.
 
I have a constant power supply from battery running to a switch at which the coils are on the other side of switch so they have a power supply but they seem to run the battery down am I wrong for thinking that they kill the battery? this is my first project and I'm at a loss there's is nothing returning the charge to battery.
 
The 'B' position on the voltage regulator connects to the coil power attachment point, it returns charge to the system. He used a red wire, it is B for black originally.
 
Can you draw a picture of how you have the wiring then post it here? It is so hard to diagnose wiring issues without being able to see the wiring.
