So I'm looking to do a few upgrades to the brakes on my F2C.
The current rotors have seen better days (as you would expect for an 30+ year old chunk of metal) and rather than just opting for some OEM replacements that will also be used, i was wondering - does anyone have any experience/suggestions on newer parts that might be a straight bolt on to the standard hubs and fit the standard calipers?
In an ideal world id like to get a set of stock rotors from a 90's/00's model which would be in better nick than the classics, i am aware that the materials changed somewhat in the late 80's meaning that the stopping power attributed to new rotors will also increase.
I still haven't decided what to do with the rear yet though as the standard rotors are a lot thicker and larger in diameter than the newer models - any hints and tips for this would be gratefully received too!!
Cheers all
