    Rear Shock spring cleaning,

    I disassembled my rear shocks on my 1981 Honda CB 750 K,. And was wondering if anyone knows a trick to cleaning the inside of the rear spring,.,

    Wd 40 or a good chrome polish and lot's and lot's of elbow grease

    ok but how do you get inside the shock coil to clean it ,.?

    Use your wifes tooth brush. Just remember to put it back. Actually for the springs try a foaming cleaner with the wife's toothbrush just remember to rise it first befire you put it back

    Since the shocks are off, some chrome polish applied and buffed using one of your wife's panty hose legs poked in and around the wire, working it around. Use your own if you don't have a wife/girlfriend.
