Trying to determine what color my 750 "should be" , Ie: what the factory color was. Or does it matter , to the value , anyway. Should I pick a color I like and go with it. It's a 1974 model, and is currently Blue with the black tank accents. I'm assuming it's factory, but other sites experts say that Blue is a 1975 color
My first restoration, looking for direction
Thanks

I would double check by the frame number that your bike is in fact a 74. It is not uncommon to have titling discrepancy's. the blue didnt come out till 75. As far as what color to go with it depends on if you are doing a full oem restoration or just making a nice riding bike. If it is indeed a 74 then it has the wrong color for the bike anyway. Kind of depends on what your goals with the bike are.

My serial number shows mfg. date 6/74 , number makes it a 1975 . So blue is factory paint thumbnail.jpg
