Hi all, first post here.

I've recently undertaken a build on a 82' CB750K with air assist forks. I've removed the front suspension, installed Progressive springs with a spacer cut to length and refilled with 15w oil.

Now that I have the forks where I want them, (without air), I'm wondering what diameter the fork caps are so I can replace them with traditional caps. The air inputs and square shape will be glaring when I get the rest of the front end cleaned up.

All my research had guys saying 35mm is correct, but I've ordered OEM 35mm caps and they just drop in. I also ordered 37mm caps that were too large. I keep hitting dead ends on old forums with posts from over ten years ago.

Any suggestions or advice on where to purchase the correct size for these guys, or what the diameter even is? (36mm maybe?)

Thanks in advance!
Mark
