I'll just jump right in with the before photo.

So after a year and 10 months this is were I am now. I learned so much in this time. Did everything myself. Got some help with motor out and in. But that's it. It ran 20 years ago when I left it. After that time I was still able to turn it over by hand with the kick starter. Hours spent on the frame and engine. Aluminum oxidation consumed all my time.

The engine came out pretty good for someone who had no experance doing this type of work. Forum people are great for help, support, knowledge at every turn.

I didn't care for the gas cap under the door thing. So I cut it out. Ended up to be a very educational process.

The backend was another learning experance. It took four times before I got something I could live with. First it was too big, then to box like, then too long. Metal... then foam, then back to metal. Finaly I ended up with what I have now. For now. This really consumed a ton of time. PhotoShop helped me get my ideas on paper. But even that when thru countess versions. The last photo... I can live with. Tried to bring the raised lines of the tank to the back of the bike.

Very nice results!..Glad to see you didn't hack off the frame rails in the back for your endeavors.
To be honest I rounded them off a little. But I think the bike needs the length that the rails give it. I was happy with the result. But it took several different attempts.
