Engine year

Hello,

Just picked up a 1978 cb750. I need to know what year the engine is. It seems like an older engine.

here are the numbers.

Its a late K1 or 1971

Well the case is anyway, you dont know if internals or cylinder and head have been changed. Wont really be able to tell unless you take it apart

Are there any other tall tale signs that it could be a 71 engine besides the number on the case?
