Hello,
My awesome uncle gave me a 79 750 SS. It's in pretty rough shape. I'm not sure if I'm going to do a full restoration or not. That can run into some money. First off I need to clean it up (my hillbilly cousin had it for a while) and get it running. I'm waiting on the keys (cousin still has them)
There is some pretty bad surface rust on the chrome and parts of the swing arm and rear shocks. The engine has a lot of oxidization on it too. I don't know if I want to pull the engine or just scrub it down in-situ. Looks like I better get a can of PB Blaster and a bunch of steel wool.
