    coil wires

    while looking on somes web sites to order some new spark plug wires i came across an article that said you can"t replace the spark plug wires,i dont believe it anyway does anyone know where i can get a set

    The plug wires are hard wired to the coils. Usually if you think you have plug wire problems you can remove the plug end cap, trim off some wire and reattach the plug cap and that will fix the problem. Assiming of course you have the stock coils.

    The stock coils have the wires attached and can't be replaced.

    However...you can upgrade your coils to DOHC or aftermarket such as dyna coils if you want removeable/replaceable plug wires.

    I have I think gold wing coils because I can unscrew them

    try a 1979 gl 1,000 goldwing the wires are longer but are 12 volt colils and are 5 ohm coils
