Hi folks. I've got a 1983 Honda Shadow VT 750 C that was given to me by my neighbor. First Honda I've owned. I've ordered a shop manual off of ebay, but until I get it, I was wondering if someone could tell me where the ignition control unit and the fuse box is located on this bike. The wiring on the bike has been butchered and I'm trying to determine what is there and what isn't. I think I may have found the ICU down near the starter, but I'm not sure. There is also a rectangular rubber holder of some sort on the rear fender, but I have no idea what it is for.
I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

Use 'rear fender and spark unit' section for the ignition modules (spark units). They do appear to slip inside that rubber holder.

Use 'side cover' section to locate the fusebox. Part #7 in the pic.

Other sections will show you other missing electrical. No main ECM there, you are likely looking at rectifier/regulator for charging.
