Good afternoon, I recently purchased a rounded (brat style) seat. The link can be found below,

And was wondering if anyone here has any experience installing such a seat on their CB750?

A quick google search revealed the below YouTube video,

I'd like to install a metal seat loop if possible, but not sure where I would purchase the metal locally, or how I could properly bend the metal to form a loop.

I don't really want to purchase a "kit" from eBay because as the video suggests above more than likely it won't fit properly.

And I was thinking about using an angle grinder to cut the frame.

Any thoughts / suggestions?

Chris

They aren't very cheap but have you checked texavina? They are around $250 shipped but I have read a bunch of good reviews on them, I myself just ordered a cafe seat from them, all the ones they offered that I looked at are a direct swap. The price is high, but I didn't want to modify the frame if I didn't have to. Good luck with your build.
