Stripped stator shaft

So, in my haste to pull the stator to replace starter clutch rollers on my 76 K I used a puller which apparently was a slightly different size to the shaft thread. Instead of resting on outer lip, the puller threaded into the shaft. It subsequently pulled half the threads out. Now the stator bolt will not thread back on. Help.

That's the crankshaft that's now a little stripped on the stator side.

If the threads are gone in the crank you will be looking for a new crank.
