Header flanges killing me!

Put a new exhaust on to replace my rotted one.

Removed the header and such but cannot get the "flanges" back in to save my life.

The crush gaskets are still in there.

Is there anything else I can use?

Really dislike these things...

Pretty much most systems use them................the crush gaskets are one time use only, the pipe often settles in slightly different a second time around as there is some slight hole slack in there. Many reuse them and then commonly popping issues on decel.

One wrap of masking tape to hold them in place and let it stay on to burn. What I do and have no issues getting them in at all. Patience though is your first tool there, ADDs will have fits.
