I dont pay over $500 if it doesnt have stock exhaust or seat. But thats around where I live. Prices vary so much in different areas you really cant put a price on a bike unless you talk to people local to your area. Year plays a lot in what its worth also. Bikes that are butchered and have a lot of aftermarket parts need to be priced by what you can get if you part it out. The closer to stock the bike is the more its worth unless you get into a motor that has a lot of vintage racing parts in it then you can get a ton of money for those parts
 
The numbers in the block tell the year the vin on the neck will tell you if the motor matches the year of the frame .. i believe honda chopper.com still has that list available on their site
