As per honda manual there are markings but can anybody read this? Also these markings only appear on the outer flywheels. All my case letters are B's, all my connecting rod numbers are 2's, and my guess is a 1 A on the crank, B + A = Green. is it possible they are all green ? There was only paint left on on bearing and it was green.

And this broken fin in the lower case?

That tab keeps the bottom of the chain guide in place.

The flywheels are marked like every other one with the crank and rod journal sizes but it only works with new engine. A used one can easily be worn to have the numbers/letters be useless. Why you need to mike the journals. The bearings can be the same or just as easy not be.

Thanks for the response. I see used cases on eBay for fairly cheap. are all K, C, and F model cases identical ?

I guess this is why the engine failed.
