    Tail light 73' CB750

Hello there, I have a 73' cb750 and want to change out the stock tail light assembly with the following tail light:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/370660994069...S:1123&vxp=mtr

My question is, the stock tail light has three wires and the one I found on Ebay has two. How can I, or can I use this tail light assembly on my 73' ?

    Thank you in advanced.

The taillight on ebay is grounded through the mounting screws and honda uses actual ground wires. You can use the light just hook up the two wires, one for brake light and one for the tail light. Leave the ground wire unhooked. Be sure the screws have a good ground in the fender. Or even better yet take the ground wire and attach it to the tail light assembly so you will be sure it is grounded.

Ok, does it matter if the new tail light is made from aluminum?

Nope makes no difference. You can try just bolting the light on and attaching the two wires first then see if it works. If it doesn't then you can add the dedicated ground.
