this is the wires that come out to hook to the key ignition my question is why five wires and 2 brown with white stripe and help it's my 1975 CB750 Cafe racer project

Somebody has butchered things, the answer to question.
Red is power from battery, goes to BAT on switch
Black is power to rest of bike or IGN for ignition on switch
Brown is TL2 thinking, or tail light 2 on switch, rear tail light for park
Brown/white is TL1, or instrument lighting, one lead for each gauge
