1980 cb750f SuperSport 10K miles

Hey guys, I just picked up this bike. It's so slow it's very frustrating. It's doing 6K going 55. I've seen other speedometers going to 130 or 160 or something on the same bike. I've been searching on Google and can't find any answers. Any info would be appreciated.

Now you know why the speedo only goes to 85 on that one LOL.

Seriously, if you are in 2nd gear, you will only be going that fast and normal. Meaning you have left out 90% of the pertinent info there. Say your speedo stuck at 6K all the time, or only two gears in trans that work. Beginning to get the picture?

As well, having a speedo that goes to 150 mph has nothing to do with how fast the bike goes but that almost is how your post comes across.

We can't work with inadequate details.
