When I bought my '76 CB750 Super Sport 8 months ago, this gas tank came with the deal as an additional part. Could someone please help me identify it (what model, year?) so I can pass it on to someone who wants it?

Thanks !

Thanks very much for the information.

You have moved the discussion to the next question, which I am open to.

The wiring is there, as is the petcock. Corrosion internally is mild-to-moderate, but of course that is a matter of opinion. There are a couple small dents.

Want to offer an opinion as to its value?

For that you might look at similar items for sale. Of course, ebay items are often optimistic and the prices at the higher end often go unsold for indefinite periods of time. Even at a reasonable price, the shipping would probably take it over the top for me.

I paid $125 shipped for this one, but could have gotten it for half of that if I had responded sooner. I hesitated and got gouged:

What you don't see (and I didn't see at first either) is the blistering paint on the other side where the tank badge used to be due to poor surface prep.

Thank is a sweet paint job. Too bad it is blemished.
I've decided to put it on EBay for 40 bucks plus economy shipping and see what I get for responses.
