I looked through all the pages for something about making a automotive regulator and radio shack full wave rectifier on cb750 year 1978.
Reason Im asking is I am going to help someone with their wiring on a 78 cb750.
I used a vr-115 regulator and electronic rectifiers on my xs650 and it does a fine job.
Anyone know if these are used on cb750 as well? Did not see anything about home brew R/R
thanks for any info.

Would probably work but I'd make sure the rectifier section was pretty robust.

I have a Bridge Rectifier 3ph 50A 1000V bought off ebay for 6 bucks along with a vr-115. Mine works fine. Would you know how many amps the cb750 alternator puts out would you?
thanks for your information and help.

The DOHCs put out a bit more and I know they are 260 watt, so do the math and figure it out. The 550 was somewhere around 200 watt or so.
