I am building a Daryl Dixon Bike from scratch. In order for me to get more familiar with bikes and builds, I went without a donor bike, and have been piecing it together part by part (except the engine). Everything is based on a 1992 CB750 bike with a R6 front end, and XS650 tank.

I am on the shocks right now, and the Daryl Dixon bike has Progressive 970 Piggybacks. I emailed Progressive Suspension about them, and they told me the CB750 is eye to clevis and not eye to eye. However, to me, this thing looks like eye to eye. Am I missing something? Bike.jpg

Eye to eye there, but is that an OEM swingarm? SOHC and early DOHC 750 use clevis on the arm. Way more than one type of 'CB750' nowadays...........

Yes, it should be OEM. Here is a shot from the Honda Service manual as well that shows a shock absorber that is eye to eye...
