Wires get super hot and smoking

Hi there,

I started with a battery charging problem that I still try to solve. I got a new wiring harness, new battery, new regulator/recitifer.
I check my starter coil and the resistance showing are great.
My problem here is that when I plug the new harness to the new rectifier, the plug starts to get really hot and start to smoke.
Same for the other plug (i don't know hoot call it, please check the pictures)

I can't figure out what can cause that. Someone can help me with that?

Luck with that. You got issues there that you need a specialist rather than a rookie looking at directly. You need someone capable of putting the entire thing in his mind to find the issue, then to do the weeding out of the many different possibilities there. Even your brand new parts are suspect, being brand new means nothing at all there.
