Hi there,

I wanna change my batterie for a smaller lithium one (http://www.dimecitycycles.com/9-7-amp-hour-240-cca-antigravity-8-cell-battery.html).
I also need to change my regulator/rectifier. (http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vinta...r-cb350f-cb400f-cb500-cb550-cb750-10-100.html)

The problem is that I don't see as much wires coming out of this guy than coming out of the one I already have
See picture:

All the regulator/rectifier that I can find, online or wherever, don't have this 3 extra wires that I have on mine. And I can't find out what they are made for.

I get confuse pretty easily with electrical stuff :)
Could somebody help me? If I get this regulator from Dime, do you think it should be enough by itself?

Tks in advance

Look directly online for ricksmotorsportelectrics.com ( official site ) on the home page click on regulator rectifiers scroll down to honda theres a wiring diagram and layout of the unit Your looking at, Model 10-100

Go online to ricksmotorsportelectrics.com (official site ) On the home page click on reg./rect. scroll down to honda You will find wiring diagram and pointers to wire it up towards the bottom of the page. This is the unit Your looking at model 10-100

Depending on how the charging system is wired, some bikes have the regulator and rectifier combined in one unit, those will have the extra wires, regulator alone with separate rectifier does not. A separate regulator only replacing a regulator/rectifier will not work.
