crankcase shell bearing removal

Hi guys, new to this great forum, just picked up a K0 basket with engine apart, just wondering what is best way of removing old crank shell bearings? I have been reading but I am only finding how to measure or determine what kind you need. I just don't want to do damage to cases, im just a noob lol. Thanks for your help in advance.

There is a keeper indentation on one end of each shell push with Your thumbs on the opposite side and they should slide out.
