Hi , My other bike is a CB160 and was wondering if someone here could help,, There is No spark at the plug,s when using electric starter although there is at the point's but when using the Kick start it spark's and start's perfectly,, I am guessing an electrical short but where would be the best place to start looking , maybe crossing the solenoid to rule out the starter button, any help would be much appreciated, Martin.

I,m confused it does turn over with the starter motor? If it does it,s not the starter button.

Starter may be drawing to many amps, pulling all the power from the coils and not allowing them turn on. These systems need 9 volts at the coil to turn them on . May also be a bad battery not holding enough amps.
