Hey all!

First off, I want to say thanks to everyone on this forum for all the help they've given me thus far. I'm really hoping to get more handy and learn, it's really rewarding fixing something yourself.

Anyways, I've got a few more things I'd like to take care of on this bike.

Next on the list is my leaking stator. Oil seems to be coming from the underside as well as the screw holes on the front of the cover. Last ride, my shifter and shoe were covered in oil coming from that area.

So first off, few questions.
I've already removed my crash bars so I can remove the cover.

- Do I need to remove those three screws on the front of the cover to actually remove the cover? Obviously, I need to get new O-Rings for these bolts. I couldn't find any sizes or specs, so would regular shop O-Rings do?

- This would be my first gasket replacement, anything I should be in for, especially with this repair? I've ordered the correct gasket and some Permatex 51813 Anaerobic Gasket Maker.

Just hoping to get some more insight / words of encouragement.
Not wanting to go in blind.

Thanks for everything!
