Won't start... F#%@!!!

The part Your referring to is the starter solenoid, As stated in previous post You can do a quick test by jumping across the large terminal lugs held on with nuts with a screwdriver make absolutely sure the bike is in neutral or it will lurch forward also there will be spark at the lugs when doing this. If the bike cranks most likely a bad solenoid.
 
If you get the cheap eBay generic solenoids, get at least two of them. If battery is new, then try the jump as stated above. Positive line directly to starter with key on, bike in neutral. Bike in neutral.
