I noticed that the fork seals are leaking on my 1982 CB750C. While researching how to replace them I'm coming across things like progressive springs and valve emulators. Both sound like good ideas. Do any of you have any experiences or recommendations, good or bad, on the subject? I do only street riding.

Old thread but I used progressive springs on a enduro and a strret bike - big difference and better ride.

I pick up a 81 cb750 last year, and will be replacing the worn out front springs with progressive springs. I also like a firm ride, so will call the company up to get them in 15 pound firmer ride than truly needed.

The rears I am looking at a piggy back type set up. But not 100% sure on that. I might just toss on complete upgraded stock style set ups.

Amazing the difference in ride and handling you will get.
