    Rust Removal

This works, Mix 1 Part Molasses to 9-10 Parts water. I put mime in a 5 gal bucket, just hooked on a coat hanger (must be oil and grease free). I checked every couple of days, It took a few days to start fermenting, some pieces took 2 weeks and others took only a few days. WILL NOT HARM CHROME OR REMOVE PAINT. Lite brushing is required sometimes, the chrome light was in for aprox 2 weeksClick image for larger version.

Thanks for the tip. Strange that molasses would clean rust.
Another method is lemon juice or vinegar and baking soda.
Make a soupy slurry out of it and rub it on or submerse and leave it
for awhile. I can't say it's safe on paint though, I've never tried it
for anything other than zinc plated parts.
