Hi there,

Last summer after I got my rear tire changed, my brake stopped working. the brake pedal presses completely down with zero resistance. I've read that it may possibly need to be bled, anyone have info on how to do that?? I know how to do it in a car and i've seen some videos of bikes having it done but for my drum brake '72 750, I don't quite know what I'm doing.. I don't know what else the problem may be. My buddy actually put the tire back on while I was away so I have no idea if any steps could have been missed.

Any info, tips, tricks, general sage wisdom is as always appreciated.

P.S. I see snow and ice melting outside, the itch to ride has begun!!!

So this is on a 72? There is no hydraulics for the rear brake. Sounds to me like the rear drum brake rod is just far to loose and not expanding the shoes. Start tightening up the nut on the brake rod couple turns at a time and keep checking it.
