My k2 jumps out of 1sr gear into neutral. Other gears work fine. Someone suggested i need to find a replacement main shaft with unworn gears. Is buying used risky and are new available? Cheers

could be a number of things. Could be rounded dogs on the gears, bent or worn shift fork, worn bearings, worn shift drum, could also be loose pins on the end of the shift drum. Does it pop out on accel or decel? No matter what the problem is you have to split the cases to fix it.
