I am thinking of getting a set of 78 CB 750 comstar rims powder coated and was wondering if any of you guys out there have done this and if so how well do they hold up. I want to do a two tone color scheme, something like blue on the rim and silver for the rest. The rims are good shape except for the factory plating wearing thin and beginning to pit. I sprayed the rim with some blue anodize paint and it looked great, but the paint is soft, so I know it wont hold up long. Please feel free to point out pros or cons or any other thoughts on rim customizations.
