`78 750 F engine question

This is the engine number, The number does not match the frame number?
I just want to make shure i am getting the right engine before i purchase this bike.
Frame Number is CB750F2206400
Engine number is CB750E3106430
Thanks in advance for any help in this matter

Engine number and frame number never match. They are built on separate assembly lines and engines got picked as they were needed to build the bike. You engine is correct for the frame.
