Hi guys, new to the forum.
I'm Mathias, live in belgium and am 25years old.
Year ago I bought myself a cb750kz, dohc from 81.
After revising the engine I messed up with the timing cause it wont start, everything works, sparks all the parameters of the electronics are correct accept for timing.
When I have the valve lobes of cylinder 1 facing towards the sparkplugs - the spares in the cams align perfect with the heads surface then
& th alignment is at 1.4T:
where should the rotor tooth be? Should it be a little bit above the left pickup, aligned or below?

Please help me out, it's driving me nuts!.

By revising the engine, I wonder if you at some point removed the cam shafts. If you did, you may have reinstalled them without properly aligning the timing marks.

I suggest you go to the manual (link to follow) Chapter 6... section 6-20. Review the cam installation instructions to ensure that you reinstalled them correctly.
