I brought home a 70 KO today. When I found the three engine's the owner also had a mostly complete 70 K0 in his trailer, he had it for 6 years, he found it in a barn and was going to do a chopper with it but lost interest, so I brought it home today. My intention is to flip it quickly so I cleaned it a little, pulled the plugs put a little mystery oil in the cylinders turned over a few times hooked up to a starter box gave it a few cranks saw I had no spark so checked the wiring all seemed good changed the condensors with some from one of the three motors I have, got good spark shot some starter fluid in the carbs and it fired on all 4 cylinders. Good enough for me its listed on ebay now the vin # is 1014199 build date on tag is 11/69 making it an early 70 model and a true K0 engine serial # isCB750E-1018789 also a 69 number. Seems I lucked out on this one too, feels good to save this one from getting chopped up just hope who ever buys it restores it the PA title says its a 71 and was first titled in 74 but the vin clearly shows this is a 70 model. will have to see what this brings on ebay
