Let's see your CB750

When you are ready start a new topic and give us all the details. I have a 1980 750 sitting around so I can help with questions.

Picked up the gem last weekend off of Craigslist for $200.

I has been sitting outside for many years and is pretty rusty and the engine is locked up. I'm using it as a parts bike since the other one I got has a good engine, but is missing a lot of parts. When I saw this I thought it would be better than buying everything I need seperately, then I can sell the rest off for parts. The side covers alone are worth half what I paid for it.

Hey grepper, what would you need for the left cover?

i looked at that bike, and tried several times to contact the seller, no answer. It was on CL several times.

Heres my 1980 750 cbk. when I bought it it had the full touring kit and it was a painful purplish/brown mauve color. I've done everything myself so far, it's been rough, I'm no mechanic, but it sure does make me more proud knowing my hands took it from where it was, to where it is now.

This is my 1976 CB750F. 22k miles. Its my first bike ever and I LOVE IT. I bought it in June 2012 and put over 2500 miles on it that summer. Only thing I have done is front brakes and an oil change.

I should have known! I have one! I think it threw me off because it was facing to the rear.

Here is a video from that event in 2012. It is patched together from two different laps from that weekend.
The ride is so smooth it looks like I am riding slower than it really is. (no engine vibrations to blur the video) Coming out of the turns
with all that electric torque can get the back end "happy" :)

neck deep in a project. looking forward to riding it.

I am converting an ugly 82 nighthawk 750 to a cb750 rat/cafe/ brat sort of thing. this is my first post here. gimme a sec to figure out how to attatch a pic from my phone.
