My brother-in-law Joe has been fighting stage four appendix cancer and is recovering from major surgery. We set up the Joe Gouveia Recovery Fund last November in the hopes of raising $10,000 to help him with bills and expenses. So far we have raised $7,895. We are trying to reach goal by Valentine's Day and are seeking $5 donations to help make that happen.
Joe is a great guy. He is a biker poet and editor of the anthology Rubber Side Down. For just the cost of a greeting card you can help make a difference and help him out in difficult times.
