Hello, I have an old 82 cb750 super sport doch that I am working on and I had a few questions. I would like a naked cafe style bike.
Does anyone know if an older model tank will fit on the 82 frame?

Will the old spoke wheels fit on the 82?

Where can I find some of these parts do people have old wheels and tanks laying around that I can buy?

The tank can be used with some mods and wheels work fine but the tire size is to narrow for my liking

I have a few more questions.

I think im in over my head with this project. Is there any place that sells fully functioning engines for the cb750f?
Ive stripped the bike down to the frame but i really dont want to break into the engine. I would rather buy one and drop it in.

I dont really care for performance just yet, just really want it running so i can ride it.

Is there anyone here in houston tx that does this type of work or have a running engine for sell?

keep a watch on craigslist for houston and dallas and if for some reason you cannot find one semi locally,check with cycleone in oklahoma. red may have something.
